I put it down about half way through the first time and I'm finally getting back to it (started it over.)

I'm enjoying it more this time. I think I must have not been in the mood for it before. The omniscient POV gets a little tiring - it's like she tries to follow all the characters all the time.

Heather recently read it and liked it too, but she was annoyed by the head hopping as well.

It's fun though!Casey Somethinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17596079290053524103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1746050382328975047.post-75010377703608764592009-01-28T11:44:00.000-05:002009-01-28T11:44:00.000-05:00Ooo thank you Fran! And how is Magyk? I'm wondering if I should read it this year.PJ Hooverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02602205868934777662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1746050382328975047.post-65263065935231130362009-01-27T17:20:00.000-05:002009-01-27T17:20:00.000-05:00It's quite common in Britain, particularly with mo...It's quite common in Britain, particularly with more mature folk. You would use it thus - when walking with a child, "Come on, don't shilly-shally!" Or, less often, if someone wasn't getting to the point, "Come on, spit it out. Don't shilly-shally around."

I still occcasionally use it, but resist it in Canada. They'd probably think I'm even stranger than I am.Fran Caldwellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13545648992948168762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1746050382328975047.post-58955597361731382152009-01-27T15:44:00.000-05:002009-01-27T15:44:00.000-05:00Yeah, I was going to say it's like a cross between...Yeah, I was going to say it's like a cross between "wishy washy" and "dilly dally."Jill Wheelerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15059527254551768150noreply@blogger.com
