Contribute

Are you interested in contributing to Literary Rambles?  Here are the many ways:

Send in a Tuesday Tip:

Have a writing or research tip you'd like to share?  Send it in to Casey for a Tip Tuesday post.

Request an agent for Agent Spotlight:

Casey is always taking requests for new agent spotlights.  Just note that she only profiles legitimate agents who accept children's fiction, specialized or representing one or more genres therein.  If they rep mostly adult but also rep YA, as many do, she is still willing to spotlight them, yes.  Though, she'd love to spotlight more agents that are specialized in children's lit.

Post Feedback and/or Response Times:

The Agent Spotlights posts are always open for comments.  Feel free to leave feedback if you have experience with one or more of the spotlighted agents, or even post your response times for others to see.  You may also share feedback with Casey via e-mail.

Send in Updates:

It's gotten to the point that Casey can't possibly keep all the Agent Spotlight profiles updated on her own, which means you should always take note of the date they were posted and do a search for new content.  If you come across something new (interview, great new information, agency switch, etc) on an agent she's profiled or a discrepancy in the information posted, please feel free to leave a comment or e-mail this information to her so she can update.

If you're the profiled agent, you can always e-mail Casey updates or corrections to your spotlight. She's happy to update at any time by request.

Send in For Public Critique:

Send Casey up to 500 words of material (preferably from your first chapter), your log line, query, or synopsis from your children's/young adult book and she'll put it up in its own post for feedback from our readers.  Anonymous or not per your preference.  Comments will be moderated to maintain constructive feedback.

Place a Wanted Ad:

Looking for a critique partner or beta reader?  No guarantees on responses, but we're willing to post a request to see if anyone out there is interested. So far everyone who has posted has received responses. For these requests, please e-mail Casey.

Blog Tours / Contests:

If you're a children's/YA author and are setting up a promotional blog tour or need a contest outlet, please contact Natalie with ideas, details, specifics, etc.

We may have to decline due to scheduling and/or business, but please do get in touch.

Interviews:

We receive a lot of requests for author interviews and are being more selective.

Natalie spotlights debut authors of middle grade and/or young adult fiction on Mondays, as well as some non-debut authors, and is building a 2012 schedule, which is filling up fast.  She will soon start a schedule for 2013. If you'd like to be considered for either year, please get in touch.

Guest Posts:

We're receiving an increasing number of requests for guest posts and are selective.  We prefer to hear from writers we know in the writing community, industry professionals, and/or experts in the field of children's lit.  Please get in touch with Casey or Natalie, per your preference / connection.

For all of the above, please e-mail Natalie at rmarma2(at)yahoo(dot)com or Casey at agentspotlight(at)gmail(dot)com, as specified.  If not specified, e-mail either of us.
