Agent Spotlight & Agent Spotlight Updates
- Agent Spotlights & Interviews were all edited in 2021. Every year since then, I update some of them. I also regularly add information regarding changes in their agency as I find it. I have been updated through the letter "N" as of 1/26/2024 and many have been reviewed by the agents. Look for more information as I find the time to update more agent spotlights.

Happy Father's Day!
Jesse came home with a new set of pots and pans on Friday and said, "Happy Father's Day!'
Well, shoot. That was easy. Don't you love a man that loves to cooks and buys himself nice cookware? Add the gifts from the kids and me this morning, and I'd say he's having a good day so far.
But the family time is what really matters! I'm off to cook him breakfast and then we're going over to my dad's for a cook out.
Should be a lovely day. Hope yours is too!

Becoming Bookish

My daughter, Berlin, in sock monkey pajamas surrounded by her Baby Einstein books this morning. She's finally caught the book bug. She tells me all about the pictures and letters she sees and demands to be read to constantly.

Dresden - Two Weeks
Sorry for double-posting two days in a row. Impatient lately, I guess. But, since today marks my baby boy's second week in the world, I wanted to post one of my pictures of him. Taken yesterday.

Thanks for looking!

Time IS Flying
Where have the last four days gone?
I've been running around like crazy since that last Wednesday post. Berlin's actual Birthday was on Thursday. I had a ton of errands to run on Thursday and Friday before Berlin's party on Saturday. My mom flew in on Thursday. I had to pick my dad up at the airport on Friday (he was gone visiting his mother who just had surgery) and pick up more stuff with him. Then we had the actual party on Saturday, which was a blast but exhausting. Sunday I spent the day with my mom because it had been nine months since we'd last seen her (moved to Arizona in January) and she has to fly back today.
Boy! You'd think I could finally relax today but that's just not going to happen. I'm now faced with seeing my mom off, getting some work done, sending out thank you notes, sending out our professional pictures we had taken a couple weeks ago, a house that is freshly covered with new toys, a pile of new clothes to wash and put away, and upcoming appointments for both me and my daughter (I know they are coming up fast but I don't remember when!)
I'm definitely in need of a list! I'm a serial lister - need to have one going all the time to function. Now that the party is over I can finally get rid of the monster list I had going for that and deal with something smaller. Whew!
I'm hoping I'll have enough time to write today and tomorrow to catch up but so far my word count for the week isn't where it should be. How is everyone else doing?
And, before I conclude this, one of my favorite pictures from the party. My dad got her this.

Love the retro tricycle!

Writing and...Elephants?
So far so good with the new determination! I wrote over 5,000 words between yesterday morning and this evening. I'm satisfied with that. I hope I can keep it up.
Perhaps more importantly, or more amusing, at least, are the elephants. Yes, the elephants.
Yesterday my twenty-one-month-old daughter announced in the car whilst running errands that there were elephants in the strawberry field. Not in so many words, but it was quite clear with the pointing and the repetition of "it's an elephant, it's an elephant, it's an elephant" that there were elephants somewhere out there. I apparently missed them, ahem, but I was heartily amused.
And then, this evening, she looked out the front window and announced "it's an elephant" yet again, but here's the best part - she looked at me with glee and cackled, yes, cackled.
I'm SO proud.
I'm seeing good times and great story fuel in my future here. Especially when baby #2 (on the way) can contribute to the madness.
