  10. Welcome back, Natalie! It's great that you enjoyed your brief vacation! And I adore Melanie's point that editors (and agents) love our books and characters as much as we do and want to see them grow as strong as possible. I totally agree with that, and I love working with people who see the editorial process as a partnership.
