I'm with you on not being able to pen a romance. Tried. Failed. As to the mystery...nothing scares me more than the unseen watcher. That grabs my attention and won't let me go until I find out who's out there.

Fascinated by the idea of writing horror about the things that scare you. Maybe I've been wrong, but I really don't want to dive deeper into my fears and make them even more real.

So horror and romance... two genres I don't really care to write. Like you, I don't want to write the intimate/sexual scenes that are required.
