  • Agent Spotlights & Interviews have been updated through the letter "H" as of 5/11/2023 and many have been reviewed by the agents. Look for more information as I find the time to update more agent spotlights.

Writing / Research Tip Tuesday

Sign up for Google Alerts and have search results automatically sent to your e-mail. You can see what people are saying about you, your blog, your book, or any and all agents you're interested in researching. Whatever search term(s) you'd like to be continually alerted to! Just remember, you have to set up an alert for each seperate search term or phrase that interests you. For example, I have alerts set for Casey McCormick and Literary Rambles and some of the agents I've spotlighted.

Here's the help page if you'd like more information.

And if you'd like to send a research or writing tip in to be featured on Lit Rambles, please e-mail them to agentspotlight(at)gmail(dot)com. Thanks!

I do this and find my name on blogs I don't get to everyday. It's a great tool!

I do this, and I get alerts all the time for a certain notorious diaper-wearing astronaut who isn't me. Pretty annoying. I hope the agents I've queried don't think I'm her!

I didn't think of doing this for agent names on my list. Thanks Casey!

Wonderful tip! Thanks, Casey. I've just set one up for myself. I like the idea of using it for agents. You're so clever!

I love Google Alerts - if nothing else because I am constantly surprised by the unexpected places my blog gets mentioned.

I too keep finding alter egoes, in walks of life I could never imagine myself. I wonder if they get my alerts, and what they make of them.
