Agent Spotlight & Agent Spotlight Updates

  • Agent Spotlights & Interviews have been updated through the letter "H" as of 5/11/2023 and many have been reviewed by the agents. Look for more information as I find the time to update more agent spotlights.

Agent Spotlight - Open Floor

Now that Agent Spotlight has spanned two months, putting the light on nine agents, I'd like to open the floor up for comments, suggestions, complaints, etc. Also, I'd like to know what agents you'd like to see featured. If you've been hoping I'd cover someone you're interested in or researching (that represents children's lit, please), don't be afraid to speak up! I'm trying to get a list in order, so I can keep you better updated on which agents are next.

As an aside, how does my blog look to you? Someone was kind enough to let me know that they have to page down a couple times just to get to the first post. I've viewed it in both Firefox and Explorer and everything looks fine on my end, so please let me know if it appears to have any formatting issues when you view it.

Thanks for the input!

P.S. Make sure you check out yesterday's post on the Libary Lovin' Challenge if you missed it. I posted it a bit late in the evening.

I have LOVED agent spotlight! I think it's brilliant, and just what I wanted.

Also, the new design looks great! I wouldn't change a thing :)

I loved your agent spotlight and was able to use it to query someone I didn't know about. I got a rejection but it was personal and that mattered more to me than anything!

I love your layout. I didn't have trouble with scrolling?

Casey, I love the agent spotlights, even though it's not my own primary market. It's great reading, and I always come away knowing a little more about the writing business.

And the new design is awesome. No scrolling issues.

Agent spotlight is great! I DID have issues with the scrolling and I don't know if it's been fixed or if that was on my work computer. The post was at the bottom of the page. On this computer (mac) it's fine.

Great new look!

I'm glad to hear you haven't all been looking at a weirdly formatted blog since I changed it. I'll have to try to figure out why it does sometimes though.

Love all the feedback. Thanks so much everyone!

Casey, I LOVE the agent spotlights! I hope you kep it going. It's been really helpful in my agent search. I think the formatting looks good, although at work the posts are at the bottom of the page (Windows 2000) but at home (different operating system)they're fine.

I'm going to email you some agents that I'm interested in.

Take care,
Crystal

Thanks so much, Crystal. I really appreciate the input and suggestions. Agent Spotlight is definitely going to continue, I just wanted to touch bases with those of you following along.

Catching up on my blogs today, and boy what a change around here! And for the better, I might add! Love the new layout, it's very sleek.

Also, the agent spotlights are great. Something you might like to know: I searched Mark McVeigh today to get some info on him, and YOUR spotlight came up on google before even his own company website...talk about web presence! Keep up the good work!
