Wednesday's Word Count

Until a moment ago, I forgot it was Wednesday! Just shows how sucked into NaNo and home life I am right now (and how much I don't look at the calender, heh.)

Okay, here we go:

Prior Goal:
11,669 words.

Achieved: 15,172 words, I beleive. (11/5 - 11/11)

Goal for new week:
11669 words.

Excuses / comments:
None! I'm satisfied with my progress. I have trouble even believing I wrote that much in a week, or that I've written 27,490 words total in twelve days! What a great feeling!

How is everyone else doing on their goals and word counts?

Yay! I can participate in your Wednesday Word Counts for the first time!!! I think my word count for the week would be 8930 words. I guess if I am going based on, in those days, my daily word count goal was 1667 x 7 days = 11,669 words should have been reached in a week. But I didn't know that, so I guess I can't be upset about it really.

I am really loving NaNo. It is the best thing that has ever happened to my writing. I just thrive under deadlines is what it really comes down to.

My revised daily word count should be 1945 a day or 13,615 in a week. So, now that I'm aware of those numbers, it will help me know what I'm reaching for.

You are doing really awesome, Casey! Keep it up!!!

Got your blog from Lindsey. Any blogger friend of hers is a beffie blogger friend of mine. Since I am runnign behind on word count, I've decided to only count the ones that matter. So her's my count this week - 8,000 words. Words that I'll keep - about 2. :) Keep writing. - Shelli

I'm doing good, but in the opposite direction! I cut 9000 words from one WIP and another 3000 from another so far. Yes, it's that housecleaning time of year!

Sheri: You're doing great! I also do really well with a deadline and expectation riding on my shoulders. I was hoping Wednesday's Words would help me similarly in that regard, but it's not quite as motivating as NaNo has been. I'm hoping I'll be able to keep stride after November though!

Shelli: Hello and welcome! Your blog is fabulous. You have some great marketing advice. Best wishes on your writing goals! We meet here for Wednesday's Word Count every week if you want to join us!

PJ: I hope the housecleaning (bookcleaning?) is going well! Kill those darlings where it's needed!
